Our Weekend Update

We traveled to Alexandria for the Vickerman (Christi's paternal family) Family Reunion. We had a great time meeting many new faces, eating lots, playing and relaxing. Samara got to meet many people including her first local celebrity, Don Shelby, a close family friend. She mostly slept, but once she was at the lake, she was wide eyed and enjoyed watching the waves and feeling the wind. We took her for her first dip in the lake, but that didn't go over too well (insert screaming here).

My dad's cousin's wife, Pat, getting baby-holding practice in (her first grandchild is due in March!!!). By the way, what is my dad's-cousins-wife to me? No idea, so let's just call it auntie!!
